In response to increasing demand of the people of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Department of Commerce was established in October 1996. The basic aim of the department was to provide facilities to the nationals of the state in the discipline of commerce. The degree aims to develop accounting and finance acumen and to flourish business management skills to prepare the graduates to take up projects in public and private sectors and contribute to the economic development of the country.
